New high-resolution simulations of hot spots moving through the accretion disk folded through latest Constellation-X response matrices. Visit our page on Diagnostics of Inner Accretion Disks: Broad Fe K Lines for more information.
The Constellation-X mission has issued a call for concepts for a Science Enhancement Package (SEP). The goal of the SEP is to enhance performance at the lowest and highest energies of the Con-X bandpass to achieve the mission science objectives. We are soliciting brief write-ups for SEP concepts. These are due Nov 13.
To view the Request for Information (RFI) along with reference information, go to the Constellation-X Project web site and follow the links under 'News and Events' for the RFI and reference information which will help you in formulating your response.

This is to confirm that the next Constellation-X FST meeting will be at Goddard Space Flight Center Dec 19 and 20, 2006. There will also be a workshop on Dec 18 to discuss Science Enhancement Package suggestions that are submitted in response to the RFI.
It is extremely important that people attending the meeting register ahead of the meeting so as to ensure that a badge to enter GSFC is available. Please note the following deadlines:
If you intend to attend the FST meeting please send an email to
Sandy Barnes
(sbarnes(at)lheapop.gsfc.nasa.gov) and
Lee Mewshaw
(lmewshaw(at)seabrook.usra.edu).
They will then send to you the forms needed to be submitted to GSFC security.
Please do this even if you are not sure whether you will attend the meeting. It is much better to be safe, rather than sorry!

The new Constellation-X Image Gallery is now available.
The next Constellation-X Facility Science Team (FST) meeting will be held February 15 and 16 in Cambridge, MA. See the Constellation-X project web page for more information.
